$MINER Token Free Mint

The Oracles are introducing a token, $MINER, to be available as a free mint on the TAP protocol.

Summary

* A supply of 500,000 $MINER is open to mint by the public at https://miner.dark.city
* To support distribution, a limit of 5 $MINER per inscription is enforced
* Holders can claim $DRK using $MINER once it is minted out
* Darklist Pass holders will claim $DRK at a discount as announced previously
* $MINER will not have a function in-game and all amounts returned to the Moon Runners will be burned

The purpose of $MINER is to empower the early Dark City community with resources to contribute to the creation of $DRK, the decentralized currency used in the Dnet.

The long-term viability of $DRK requires sufficient decentralization to survive within the adverse, hostile environment that is the Paradise Computer. By minting $MINER, players are signaling their dedication to this vision of decentralization, and are doing their part to secure the $DRK network.

Holders of $MINER can claim $DRK once $MINER has minted out and the security of the $DRK network has been validated.

$MINER FREE MINT PROCESS

A total supply of 500,000 $MINER will be available to the general public, as a free mint on https://miner.dark.city, on a first come first serve basis. $MINER is a TAP based token.

To encourage decentralization, there is a limit of 5 $MINER per inscription. Once the network is secure, $MINER will be redeemable for $DRK. Holders of $MINER can also mint a rare TH Moon Miner 5.

CLAIMING $DRK

Once $MINER has minted out, holders will be able to claim $DRK according to the following ratios we had previously announced:

  • OG Darklist Pass: 0.50 $MINER = 1 $DRK (Limit 90,000 $DRK)
  • Gang Member Darklist Pass: 0.75 $MINER = 1 $DRK (Limit 135,000 $DRK)
  • Lone Wolf Darklist Pass: 0.90 $MINER = 1 $DRK (Limit 225,000 $DRK)
  • Public Mint: 1 $MINER = 1 $DRK (Until Supply Is Finished)

Darklist Pass Holders will also have early access to the $DRK claim as follows:

  • OG Darklist Pass: 1 hour early access
  • Gang Member Darklist Pass: 30 min early access
  • Lone Wolf Darklist Pass: 10 min early access
